I am an assistant professor at Durham University, on leave from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). I graduated in 2011 from the University of Edinburgh under the supervision of Professor Andrew Ranicki, and I was a Zorn Postdoctoral Fellow at Indiana University in Bloomington from 2011 - 2014. For the academic year 2014 - 2015 I visited the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn. I started at UQAM in 2014 and in Durham in 2017. I work on topology, specifically on the concordance of knots and links the topology of 3- and 4-dimensional manifolds.
